Play Equipment Update

After delays and cancellations by Timberline the toddler play equipment was eventually installed at Arlebury Park and Sun Hill, only to be vandalised within a few days.  MP had telephoned Timberline prior to the order as catalogue had shown items within a protected environment, eg school playgrounds.  She was assured by Timberline that the equipment selected was robust and satisfactory for public area use.  The Town Clerk is sending a letter of complaint to Timberline in respect of all issues encountered with the equipment.

Resolution:  To withhold payment of Timberline’s invoice until such time as outstanding issues have been resolved.   Proposed:  Cllr Power          Seconded:   Cllr Middleton         Agreed
