Guttering
& Changing room repairs:
Resolution: To approve the
quote of £850 for the repair of the Corner guttering and the sticking
changing room doors at the ARC. Proposed: Cllr.Power. Seconded: Cllr. Yeldham (AGREED). A

Football - Football training had started. Games commenced in August and included the
FA cup game. TI to
liaise with AJ regarding the arrangements to be made for the cricket/Football
cross-over. It was reported
that there would be a Sunday team commencing this season at Stratton Bates. Everything was in place for the Youth

reported that the Alresford and District Partnership would be meeting on 12th
September where it was scheduled to debate a Junior Chapter of the
Partnership. |

Finance: The current
figures were presented - No queries were raised. |

Play Equipment - The
additional input received regarding Play equipment was constructive. Sun Hill was the most secluded play area
and was prone to vandalism. Where
possible hardy/vandal-proof equipment should be given preference. The refurbishment of the Sun Hill fort was
quoted as £16K unless a local contractor could restore the fort at a more
reasonable cost consideration should be given to install a larger the item of
equipment covering a bigger footprint.
A 20% discount was offered on
the dual abled/disabled bodied equipment. The Clerk had arranged for a representative
to view the Stratton Bates site to give a costing for this equipment. SM, MP,
SMcC to meet at 7.30 13th July to select
Play equipment. Clerk to obtain quotes
on selected equipment. |
