ARLEBURY PARK SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB

Football Foundation Update

The minutes of the football foundation meeting detailed the Football Foundation conditions with regard to

their funding of the Arlebury Park Facility.   For the purposes of the meeting the foundation did not distinguish between stadia and foundation funding.  It was explained that part of the funding was made available to enable the Alresford Town Football Club to comply with 1st Division league requirements which included covered seating for 100 people.

Arlebury Park Sports and Social Club (APSSC) Charter

NATC had requested sight of the APSSC Charter.  The Council acknowledged the charter as a detailed list of what the Club users wished from a community facility.  It was noted that the charter did not detail user responsibilities for the facility.

Clerks Report on APSSC

NATC were given details of incidents that had occurred over the last few months.  The Clerk’s opinion was that these incidents were the result of group management and that in the current situation sole management would bring these incidents under control.

Actions to be taken in respect of the Arlebury Park Facility

Clerk to invoice the club for the agreed fee of £5 per evening for each night the facility had been re-opened.

Resolution:

That a temporary steward be employed by NATC to run the catering and refreshment facility, for a minimum period of 3 months up to a maximum period of 6 months.  Whereby the position to be advertised.  Proposed Cllr. Middleton Seconded Cllr. Cattle (UNANIMOUSLY AGREED)
